Melaka United players are free from Covid-19 symptoms after the squad received the results of the swab test today.<\/p>\n
Melaka United manager, Muhammad Akram Abdullah confirmed that the entire team including the players and staff received a negative results in the COVID-19 screening test.<\/p>\n
This is after the team was quarantined after returning from Sabah.<\/p>\n
He said all players and officers underwent swab tests twice and then underwent quarantine at the hotel.<\/p>\n
Melaka also asked for the match against Kedah to be postponed to allow the team to undergo training.<\/p>\n
“In this regard, we made an application to postpone the match against Kedah which was accepted by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) and the opposing team.<\/p>\n
“The opportunity is used for trainings after the quarantine period ends. It is important for teams that are disrupted due to COVID-19.”<\/p>\n
Melaka will face Kedah at the Darul Aman Stadium, Alor Setar, this Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
