His wish was expressed on his Facebook account, after being hit with various controversies involving Kedah football.<\/p>\n
“After settling all the debts left by the previous management, I plan to hand over the football affairs to those who are more deserving,” he said.<\/p>\n
“There are many more qualified figures for this business. I will remain a loyal supporter of the Hijau Kuning.”<\/p>\n
Sanusi faced great criticism from Kedah fans after changing the name of their favorite team to Darulaman FC.<\/p>\n
The team’s new logo was also criticized for not being in line with the tastes of the fans.<\/p>\n
Since taking the office in May, Sanusi has faced several controversies such as the issue of salary arrears, the issue of team ownership as well as delays in completing the club’s privatization process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
