Terengganu FC head coach, Nafuzi Zain admitted his team have a rather slim chances to secure second spot in the Super League this season following a shocking 2-1 defeat to UiTM FC yesterday.<\/p>\n
The defeat also means Terengganu have lost in three consecutive matches, after losing 1-0 to Melaka United and 1-0 Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT FC).<\/p>\n
Nafuzi said they must win all three remaining matches in order to secure the second spot.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me, we have to win game by game because if we win, then we will automatically be on top,” he told reporters after the match against the UiTM FC at the UiTM Stadium, yesterday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have lost three matches and I think we should not lose any more point after this.”<\/p>\n
The Turtles were trailing as early as 4th minute after poor defending allowed UiTM forward Arif Anwar to score the first goal of the game, but Terengganu managed to equalized through Lee Tuck’s penalty in the 38th minute.<\/p>\n
However, Terengganu were left exposed again at the back as UiTM forward Victor Nirennold scored the winning goal with an excellent finish in 60th minute.<\/p>\n
Terengganu have 30 minutes to find an equaliser but failed to capitalize on that until the final whistle.<\/p>\n
Terengganu is now placed sixth in the Super League table with 10 points, three points behind UiTM, four points behind second place Perak and 12 points behind JDT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
