Fleet-footed Liverpool star Mo Salah is reportedly keen to scamper over to the Barca of sunny Spain, according to Ajax legend and Ronald Koeman’s close friend Sjaak Swart.<\/p>\n
Recently appointed as manager at the Nou Camp, Koeman is determined to rebuild the squad after their La Liga exit and Champions League debacle\u00a0in August.<\/p>\n
Swart, who also happens to be Ajax’s record appearance holder has told Dutch Press that the new coach would love to have Salah at the Nou Camp as he told Dutch publication\u00a0Voetbalzone.nl\u00a0as per the Daily Mirror:<\/p>\n
\u201cI know Koeman wants him \u2013 and I know Salah would like to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hpwever when questioned where he received this information, Swart added:<\/p>\n
\u201cI can’t. I am not going into any more details, but just believe me that I know.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Egyptian winger has enjoyed his time while earning for himself a prestigious reputation at Anfield where he has won both the Champions League and the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Salah boasts two top-flight Golden Boots to his name, and has netted 97 goals in 154 appearances across all competitions since moving to Liverpool in 2017.<\/p>\n
He scored 19 goals last season but was left entirely out of the seven-man shortlist for last\u00a0season’s Player of the Year nominations.<\/p>\n
Salah looked fired-up during Liverpool’s opening game of the 2020\/21 season, scoring a brilliant hat-trick as the Reds narrowly beat Leeds United in a 4-3 thriller.<\/p>\n
