Inter Milan are expecting Barcelona\u2019s Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal to join the club next week, after his contract is terminated with Barcelona, according to a report from today\u2019s paper edition of the Milano-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old Chilean has been told by new coach Ronald Koeman that he is \u2018surplus to requirements\u2019in the club\u2019s project and so will have his contract terminated by mutual consent on Monday, with one year remaining on the deal. An agreement between player and club regarding compensation is close and expected to be finalised by early next week.<\/p>\n
The report continues that after Vidal\u2019s signing with Inter, the next target is Chelsea\u2019s N\u2019Golo Kante. The 29-year-old Frenchman is valued at around \u20ac50 million by the Blues and so the Nerazzurri will either need to sell one or two important players, or many of the unneeded players like Joao Mario and Ivan Perisic.<\/p>\n
