Look like Liverpool\u2019s trophies cabinet isn\u2019t the only thing to have a new sparkle with the recently acquired Premier League trophy after a long 30-year wait. Star striker Mohamed Salah has decided to have his trademark Afro shared and now sports a new trimmed look.<\/p>\n
Salah, who enjoyed yet another fine season in front of goal for the Reds, took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his fresh new trim. After posting a picture of his short trim on social media, some Liverpool players took the opportunity to tease the Egyptian.<\/p>\n
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wrote on Instagram:<\/p>\n
‘I’d hate to say you copied my trim, but…. lookin fresh my brother.’<\/p>\n
Jordan Henderson showed himself to be a big fan of Salah’s new look as he posted hand-clapping emojis on the Egyptian’s page.<\/p>\n
Liverpool youngster Curtis Jones jumped into the action, commenting:<\/p>\n
‘I like it bro’ accompanied by a laughing emoji while Alisson simply wrote:<\/p>\n
‘Finally.’<\/p>\n
Salah had recently alarmed Liverpool after hinting that he could leave Anfield in the future after starring in Liverpool’s title triumph.<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old joined the club from Roma in 2017 and has now won four trophies during his three-year spell on Merseyside.<\/p>\n
The forward’s 19 goals and 10 assists were crucial to helping the Reds become Premier League champions but he admitted he is unsure how long he will stay at Anfield.<\/p>\n
Salah told LA FM Colombia:<\/p>\n
‘I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment!<\/p>\n
‘No one knows the future and what will happen. Let’s see what will happen.<\/p>\n
‘But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I’m happy.<\/p>\n
‘Let’s see what will happen in the future, but I’m very happy to win and achieve those trophies.’<\/p>\n
