Andre Wisdom faced one of the most horrific moment in his life as he was stabbed during a robbery when he was back in his home at Liverpool.<\/p>\n

The former Liverpool defender whom currently plays for Championship side Derby County was visiting his relatives in the Toxteth area of Liverpool when the attack took place.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndre Wisdom has been the victim of an unprovoked assault and robbery. He sustained injuries which resulted in him being admitted to hospital,\u201d said a statement from Derby.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe club will focus its efforts on supporting Andre and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wisdom joined Liverpool at the age of 15 in 2008 before he was handed a professional debut in 2012 by Brendan Rodgers.<\/p>\n

He spent on loan with four different clubs Red Bull Salzburg before moving permanently to Derby in 2017, after almost 10 years staying at Liverpool.<\/p>\n
