Friday\u2019s clash adds more spice for Mourinho as there\u2019s the added incentive of getting one up on the team who sacked him as manager not even midway through the 2018\/19 season and replaced him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has done fine an earlier slew of negatives into positives so far.<\/p>\n
Although the jury is still out deliberating on whether Solskjaer is United’s \u00a0long-term answer, Mourinho himself seems unconvinced that the man who replaced him at Old Trafford is the one. Ironically it\u2019s a case of the pot calling the kettle black as Mourinho himself doesn’t really have much of a leg to stand on in terms of league placings, having been unable to inspire Tottenham to a top four challenge and also to qualify for Europe. Besides, Spurs also aren’t in any cup competitions.<\/p>\n
Mourinho\u2019s snide remarks about Solskjaer are likely mind games stemming from a sour grapes disposition ahead of Friday\u2019s juicy encounter both teams and their managers.<\/p>\n
