This latest news comes direct from Premier League chief executive Richard Masters who has suggested that Liverpool will be given a trophy presentation ‘if at all possible’ despite fans being unable to watch inside the eventual stadium for the event.<\/p>\n
Liverpool require only a maximum of six points from their remaining eight games to be crowned champions for the first time since 1990.<\/p>\n
Premier League clubs conducted coronavirus protocols testing over the weekend and have been given the go-ahead to conduct group training sessions on Tuesday, despite concerns still hovering over social distancing measures and the effect playing matches will have on the spread of coronavirus.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, Masters is determined that the Premier League winners should be rewarded with a ceremony, no less.<\/p>\n
When asked whether there would be a presentation, Masters said:<\/p>\n
\u201cIf at all possible, yes. We would like to have a trophy presentation to give the players and staff the moment they have worked so hard for.<\/p>\n
