The club, enraged, have labelled Kean\u2019s actions \u201cunacceptable\u201d after he flouted the lockdown restrictions.<\/p>\n
The striker who joined from Juventus for a reported \u00a324million last summer is most likely to be hauled up to face disciplinary action.<\/p>\n
A club statement read:<\/p>\n
\u201cEverton Football Club was appalled to learn of an incident in which a first team player ignored Government guidance and club policy in relation to the coronavirus crisis.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe club has strongly expressed its disappointment to the player and made it clear that such actions are completely unacceptable.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverton has regularly stressed the importance of following all the Government guidelines \u2013 including rules and advice for inside and outside of the home \u2013 through a series of official communications to all staff members, including players.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe amazing people in the NHS deserve the utmost respect for their hard work and sacrifice. The best way to show them respect is by doing everything we can to protect them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kean is the latest addition to the list of Premier League players to flout the rules after Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker were forced to proffer their apologies for breaching the restrictions with their thoughtless, misguided actions while Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko also apologised for openly training together last week.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old Kean has failed to impress in his debut season in England having scoring just once in 26 games for the Toffees.<\/p>\n
