News circulating about Jadon Sancho on the transfer market has been steadily buzzing. Already quite a number of Europe\u2019s elite teams are circling like vultures waiting to swoop in for the kill in making a move for the young and extremely talented Borussia Dortmund star who\u2019s just turned 20 when the transfer window re-opens to fire up some much-needed excitement and hype in the midst of the clammy coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
Adding fuel to the flames, Tammy Abraham has apparently issued an open warning to Marcus Rashford in a teasing manner to stay off Jadon Sancho. The Chelsea striker has jokingly censured the Manchester United forward and England national, Marcus Rashford, to “stay away” from his long-time friend Jadon Sancho as the race increasingly hots up for the Dortmund wunderkind\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n
Understandably, Sancho received effusive birthday greetings with some from a number of high-profile players when he turned 20 years old on Wednesday, with one of those from his England teammate Marcus Rashford, who\u2019s message on Instagram, along with a picture of the two of them training together for the Three Lions, read:<\/p>\n
“Happy birthday bro!! Enjoy your day, stay indoors.”<\/p>\n
“Thank you Rashhyy, appreciate it bro,” was Sancho\u2018s immediate reply. However, Sancho\u2019s longtime buddy since their youth days playing together at Camberwell where they were born, Abraham, appeared to be not be too happy with how close the Sancho and Rashford were getting, and playfully admonished the latter to “Stay away from my Jadon”, with a laughing emoji attached.<\/p>\n
Laughing matter or not, Abraham’s comment was subsequently deleted later but without it having raised eyebrows leading to fans speculating as to whether it could mean both Manchester United and Chelsea are gearing up for a head-to-head tussle in the transfer slug-out for hot property Sancho.<\/p>\n
The fleet-footed lad with his wizardry has raised his level of play and impressed yet again in the Bundesliga this season with 14 goals spectacularly scored and created 15 assists before the Bundesliga campaign was ignominously suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic playing referee and blowing its own whistle.<\/p>\n
Although Sancho\u2019s career began at Manchester City and is now flourishing magnificently in the Bundesliga, the Camberwell kid has been strongly linked with a return to England in recent months with the big guns at Old Trafford reportedly confident they can entice him with sweet offerings to United, even to the extent of offering him their iconic number 7 shirt that’s been worn in its grand legacy in the past by United legends like George Best, David Beckham and Ronaldo if he finally decides to join.<\/p>\n
Of course, Chelsea this time around have sufficient money to spend after having been restrained to not making any signings in the last two transfer windows. The irresistibly attractive prospect of linking up with his old playing mate Abraham again could indeed provide the alluring bait to tempt Sancho to West London instead of Manchester. Sancho’s current contract runs until 2022 and it is anticipated that it would require a bid of over \u00a3100m to tempt Dortmund to release their hold on the youngster.<\/p>\n
