Lionel Messi has reportedly told Neymar that he wants the Brazilian to be at Barcelona when he retires in few years time.<\/p>\n
Messi viewed Neymar as his successor at Barcelona, even as much as being a future Catalan captain.<\/p>\n
According to France Football, Messi sent a WhatsApp message to Neymar that reads:<\/p>\n
“Only together can we win Champions League.<\/p>\n
“I want you to come back. In two years, I’m leaving and you will be alone, you will take my place.”<\/p>\n
Barcelona board are thinking the same, as they prepare for another bid after failed to do so in the previous summer.<\/p>\n
Messi is already 32 years old and it will be a perfect time to sign Neymar who has \u00a3154 million exit clause in his contract with PSG.<\/p>\n
Neymar himself wants to leave since last summer after he allegedly buying out his contract for 30 million euros.<\/p>\n
Added to that, he is currently in rocky relationship with PSG manager Thomas Tuchel.<\/p>\n
PSG may not be pleased with the development, since another forward Edinson Cavani is leaving for Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n
