Man City launch Harry Kane bid as alarm raised over Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish

Pep Guardiola wants both Harry Kane and Jack Grealish at the Etihad this summer in earnest anticipation of revamping his attack in the wake of Sergio Aguero’s exit

Fabrizio Romano, the journalist specializing in transfers, reports that City have already made their offer, but Tottenham are insistent their skipper is not for sale.

Allegedly City is offering a guaranteed £100m for Kane besides being willing to offer players as makeweights.

Romano tweeted: “Manchester City made an official proposal to Tottenham for Harry Kane. £100M guaranteed + availability to include players in the deal. #THFC have NO intention to accept. Harry wants to go, but Levy will try to keep him.

“Harry now focused on the Euros, then it’ll be decided.”

Bernado Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are allegedly the three players who could be lumped into the deal.

City have also been linked with Villa star Jack Grealish, with Guardiola reported to have placed both strikers at the top of his transfer wish list.

However Villa have said their talismanic striker is not for sale and no offers have yet been received for the England midfielder. Despite that, speculation is still rife that Grealish will be next on City’s agenda if they can add Kane to their rank of superstars.

However, Villa fans have apparently welcomed the news that City, in having to go all out for Kane at such a huge fee, it would mean they would also have to dig deeper into their kitty to find another £100m plus to sign Grealish.

And even with City’s ridiculous wealth, some believe it may be too tough for City to land both players this summer.
