Wenger has won 3 league titles during his tenure with the club. One of which was back in 2003-04 when the team went unbeaten, adopting the moniker \u2018The Invincibles\u2019.<\/p>\n

Having overseen a thumping win over Burnley for an end to his 606th home game in charge, Arsenal ran out 5-0 winners to give Wenger his 475th win in 826 Premier League games. The Emirates was draped in tributes to Wenger, with giant “Merci Arsene” banners outside the ground, while red T-shirts bearing the same slogan and the date were placed on each one of the 60,000 seats in the stadium.<\/p>\n

Arsene Wenger said his farewell to Emirates Stadium with a thrashing of Burnley to leave in the same way it all began for him as Arsenal manager 7,876 days ago – with a victory.<\/p>\n

Following FC Barcelona’s exit from the tournament on Tuesday, veteran midfielder Andres Iniesta admitted there is a possibility he will never play in the UCL again. The Spaniard has won the competition four times in his career and has made 130 appearances in it.<\/p>\n

Andres Iniesta has bid an emotional farewell to Barcelona after 22 glittering years at the Nou Camp. Andr\u00e9s Iniesta got the send-off he deserved on Sunday evening in the final match of the season, and his last ever game in the famous Blaugrana shirt \u2013 the only one of he has ever worn in one of the most glittering careers in football history. Indeed, his amazing tally of 32 major trophies is a club record that he shares with Leo Messi.<\/p>\n

LaLiga champions Barca claimed a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad and it was a fitting finale for the 34-year-old, who lifted the trophy for a ninth time.<\/p>\n

Addressing supporters on the pitch after the final whistle, Iniesta said he “leaves as a man”, having spent so long playing for the Catalan giants.<\/p>\n

“I will move on and carry you all in my heart forever,” he said. “It’s been a wonderful 22 years, full of pride, and it’s been a pleasure to represent this club.<\/p>\n

After 12 years, 464 appearances and 12 major trophies, Michael Carrick signed off his Manchester United career in fitting fashion.<\/p>\n

Carrick has played in some enthralling matches at Old Trafford since he joined United from Tottenham Hotspur for \u00a318.6million in 2006.<\/p>\n

Unwilling to play out a token farewell against Watford, Carrick plucked a performance straight from the 2012\/13 collection.<\/p>\n

With the scores tied at 0-0, the 36-year-old released Juan Mata with a trademark ball over the top, who then found Marcus Rashford for the game’s only goal.<\/p>\n

It was a special moment on an emotional day. Each Carrick pass tugged on the heartstrings of those at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

And many fans took to social media to thank the United legend for his 12 years at the club.<\/p>\n

But now it appears he will have another shot of being crowned European champion this time in the colors of the French champions. Buffon is believed to have agreed on a deal to join Thomas Tuchel’s PSG and pocket \u00a36.14million-a-year.<\/p>\n

Fernando Torres will leave Atletico Madrid when the season ends means he is unlikely to play in the UCL again too.<\/p>\n
