UAE side Al Jazira have announced that French midfielder Lassana Diarra has officially left the club after a mutual termination of his contract.<\/p>\n
The 32-year-old joined the Arabian Gulf League champions in April after leaving Olympique Marseille, but has not featured for the club since November as he was reportedly got an injury.<\/p>\n
“Al Jazira Football Company terminate the contract with the French midfielder Lassana Diarra by mutual consent,” read a statement on club’s official Twitter.<\/p>\n
Diarra moved to Asia after his contract was terminated by Marseille earlier in 2017, where he left the French Ligue 1 outfit following a breakdown of relationship between him and the club.<\/p>\n
