However, he did not make the cut and had to leave for Spain to play for\u00a0Atl\u00e9tico Sanluque\u00f1o CF in 2013 at the lower league.<\/p>\n<p>However, it was not until 2014 when the 27-year-old made his real breakthrough in <a href=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/2017\/12\/13\/young-lions-remain-s-league\/\">S-League side<\/a> Warriors FC.<\/p>\n<p>After a successful campaign in Indian club North East United, Velez had departed to Croatia playing for a short spell in\u00a0Hajduk Split but did not play too much, so he returned\u00a0to his former club in India.<\/p>\n<p>Since joining Suphanburi in 2017, V\u00e9lez scored 13 goals from 28 games in top-flight Thai League 1 past season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nicolas Velez left Suphanburi to join newly-promoted Malaysian Super League&#8217;s side Negeri Sembilan, according to reports from Thailand.
