Two people were injured by firecrackers in Perak Stadium at the end of the Malaysia Cup semi-final between Perak and\u00a0Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) last night.<\/p>\n
The match ended in a 1-1 draw ahead of the second leg at Larkin Stadium in Johor Bahr on 21 October.<\/p>\n
As reported by the New Straits Times<\/a>, the injured include a football fan and a policeman after home fans hurled firecrackers at the end of the match.<\/p>\n “Several arrests were made, including those suspected of hurling the lit firecrackers,” Ipoh district police chief Sum Chang Keong told reporters at the stadium.<\/p>\n “Based on our observation, the commotion involved home supporters.
