Cambodian footballer Mony Udom has been allowed to withdraw from the national squad ahead of the international friendly match with Indonesia on 6 October and the Vietnam qualifier due to a family issue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Cambodia head coach Leonardo Vitorino stated that it\u00a0was not a problem for\u00a0his\u00a0side as there were still a few good replacements such as In Sodavid and Sos Suhana.<\/p>\n

Coach Leonardo Vitorino told TheMorning<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cThe player [Monyudom] only appeared in the training schedule and [then] stated that his mother was ill at the hospital, so as he has that problem, we decided to leave him in Cambodia to take care of his mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cFootball is a group sport, so I have confidence in the group who can play at a good level. I have confidence in all the players whom I call to the national team. Football talent can be decided in the matches, but teamwork can win titles. If the group of players wants to win the game, they can.\u201d<\/p>\n
