Vietnam will be likely to appoint a foreign to replace Nguyen Huu Thang, who had stepped down at last month\u2019s SEA Games,<\/a> as the new head coach for national team.<\/p>\n

According to Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Vice President Doan Nguyen Duc, who had filed the resignation letter but would not be accepted until next March, the Golden Stars need a foreign boss to pursuit important targets in the future.<\/p>\n

Thang had signed the two-year contract with VFF, which means he would lead both national and U-22 team until March 2018. However, his departure requires the football governing body rushing for a candidate to sit in the \u201chot seat\u201d that Thang left.<\/p>\n
