South Korea’s iconic head coach Guus Hiddink has welcomed a return to the Taegeuk Warriors<\/em> job if he is offered the post.<\/p>\n

The 70-year-old tactician brought history for South Korean football when he successfully led the East Asia nation to the semi-final of 2002 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Hiddink is currently free agent after leaving his job as interim manager at Chelsea in the end of English Premier League 2015-16 campaign.<\/p>\n

“I can take the job again if they want, money is not important matter for me,” he told YTN.<\/em><\/p>\n

However, the South Korean Football Association (KFA) insisted that they still has trust in Shin Tae-yong, who previously replaced Uli Stielike as head coach in late June.<\/p>\n

“We have contract with Shin Tae-yong until World Cup and we are going to fully support him,” read a statement from KFA.<\/p>\n
