Werder Bremen have confirmed that Zhang Yuning already left the team to take a part in the 13th Chinese National Games this month.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old striker will play for his hometown team Zhejiang in the U-20 football competition which will be held in Tianjin.<\/p>\n
His province have made it to the semi-final of the national tournament for the first time in their history and have a chance to play in the final game on Thursday.<\/p>\n
“We let him go back to China as we know it’s an important event within his home country,” Werder\u2019s sporting director, Frank Baumann told the club’s official site.<\/p>\n
Zhang previously has been called up to the China national team for the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.<\/p>\n
