Indonesia U-22 <\/a>team manager Endri Erawan said that he would appeal the yellow card handed to key player Evan Dimas during the match against Timor Leste on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Dimas was fouled by opponents\u2019 defender Gumario Moreira, however, the Indonesian had to receive a yellow card by referee Nagor Amir Noor Mohamed since he was considered to have bad words to the Timorese players.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Moreira was sent off with a straight red card.<\/p>\n

As Dimas has accumulated two yellow cards in the tournament so far, he will miss a \u00a0potentially crucial match against Vietnam on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Team manager Erawan claimed that the yellow card for Dimas was \u201cnonsense\u201d and said the team would appeal against the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided to appeal against the yellow card to Asian Football Confederation,\u201d Erawan said on Monday morning, as quoted by The Thao & Van Hoa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This statement has been confirmed by Indonesian national teams coordinator Fanny Riawan.<\/p>\n

\u201cFootball Association of Indonesia (PSSI) has sent a letter to the AFC with two points.
