The Young War Elephants picked up the second victory in the group B of SEA Games 2017 men’s football following a lackluster 1-0 win over minnows Timor Leste on Friday.<\/p>\n
Thailand U-22 were not at their best at the previous match against Timor Leste, as well as the match before that with Indonesia, but on Sunday they were more lively and had a more energetic look about them.<\/p>\n
Picha Au-tra opened the scored for the Young War Elephants in the 35th minute before his team-mate\u00a0Chaiyawat Buran and Cambodia’s\u00a0Sok Samnang were sent off in the last minutes of the first half.<\/p>\n
Thailand remain in control of the match, but it was not until the 76th minute did they have a second goal when\u00a0Nattawut Sombatyotha successfully converted a penalty.<\/p>\n
