Pahang head coach Dollah Salleh can return to his job in December after his 18-month ban for insulting match officials was reduced to five months.<\/p>\n
Dollah was fined RM30,000 and banned for 18 months by The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after criticising the standard of refereeing and other matters concerning FAM after the 1-2 loss to Felda United in a Super League match on 1 July.<\/p>\n
As the consequence, the Pahang head coach has been ordered to stay away from all football related activities starting 21 July 2018 until 20 April 2018.<\/p>\n
However, during an event in Johor on Tuesday night, the FAM president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim<\/a> revealed that the Pahang coach will only be suspended for only 5 months after he submitted an appeal.<\/p>\n \u201cDollah Salleh will only be suspended for 5 months, and not for one and a half years.\u201d the Crown Prince explained, as quoted by Stadium MY<\/a>.<\/p>\n Previously, FAM received criticism from local football fans for \u201cmisuse of power\u201d after imposing the ban on the former Malaysia national football team head coach.<\/p>\n \u201cDollah Salleh can still train the team, he is just not allowed to sit on the bench during matches.
