Johor Darul Ta\u2019zim (JDT) has announced the departure of striker Brian Ferreira to the Ecuadorian Primera Categor\u00eda Serie A side Fuerza Amarilla FC.<\/p>\n
\u201cJohor Darul Ta\u2019zim FC (JDT) have created history once again after selling Brian Ferreira, 23, to Fuerza Amarilla SC, a club playing in the Ecuadorian Premier League,\u201d a statement released by JDT<\/a> read.<\/p>\n \u201cIt shows that overseas clubs are aware of and follow JDT\u2019s development. JDT have created history by selling not only one player but two players, Martin Lucero and Brian Ferreira, to overseas clubs.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite being a product of prestigious Velez Sarsfield academy, Ferrera failed to stamp his mark in Argentina. The Argentine-Iraqi then moved his footballing career to Asia in 2017, with his first destination is Malaysia<\/a>\u2019s football powerhouse JDT.<\/p>\n However, the 23-year-old has not performed up to the club\u2019s expectations, which led to Ferreira being benched for the last few months.
