Shanghai Shenhua are hopeful Fredy Guarin will accept the offer of an extension to his contract along with his team-mate Giovanni Moreno.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old Colombia international joined the Chinese Super League giants for \u20ac11m in January last yeat after leaving Italian Serie A side Inter.<\/p>\n
While Moreno has appeared in 125 games for Shanghai Shenhua since signing from Argentinian outfit Racing Club in 2012.<\/p>\n
“The two players are very popular and their contributions to the club have been displayed for all to see,” said team’s deputy general manager Zhou Jun as quoted by Goal China.<\/em><\/p>\n “We’re communicating with them about the contract extensions and hopefully I’ll bring good result to everybody.<\/p>\n “Both of them consider Shenhua as a great club and love the atmosphere here.
