With the majority of fans wanting him out, he is clearly on thin ice.<\/p>\n<p>The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) should seriously start looking for a replacement sooner rather than later, and the six candidates below all have impeccable credentials.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4637 size-mh-magazine-content\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/06\/jdt-620x381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Mario Gomez<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A legend revered in Malaysia as well as Singapore, the 60-year-old Argentine made history by leading Malaysian Super League giants Johor Darul Ta&#8217;zim\u00a0to their AFC Cup victory for the very first time in 2015. During his short stay with the Southern Tigers, he also led them to two league titles, a Malaysia FA Cup, as well as a Piala Sumbangsih (super cup) title.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2573 size-mh-magazine-content\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Uli-Stielike-678x381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>2. Uli Stielike<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Although he was just sacked as the head coach of the South Korea national team, the German had a respectable record when he was in charge of the Taeguek Warriors. He led them to the final of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup where they lost to Australia in extra-time but made amends for that by winning the EAFF East Asian Cup later that year. The 62-year-old has also managed Al-Sailiya\u00a0in Qatar, where he won the league title.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2928 size-mh-magazine-content\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Kiatisuk-Senamuang-678x381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Kiatisuk Senamuang<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A born winner as a player and manager, he has won the ASEAN Football Championship with Thailand twice and led the War Elephants to the fourth place at the 2014 Asian Games. More recently, he stepped down as Thailand national team head coach after a poor start in the third round of 2018 World Cup qualification.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2539 size-mh-magazine-content\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/e8cd7233141397a7ba6ec327fb29d81b-678x381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>Dragan Talajic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The former Tanjong Pagar United goalkeeper has won many trophies in his managerial career. He led Saudi Arabia\u2019s Al Ittihad to the 2004 AFC Champions League title. The Croatian has also won trophies with Jordan\u2019s Al-Wahdat and in Kuwait with Kuwait SC. His last post was at Thai League T1 side Muangthong United where he finished runners up to Buriram United in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-mh-magazine-content wp-image-4639\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/06\/599733556-1-594x381.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"594\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-mh-magazine-content aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/06\/599733556-1.jpg\" width=\"0\" height=\"NaN\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Jose Daniel Carreno<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 54-year-old Uruguayan has been managing in the Middle East since 2012, where he won the League and Cup double with Saudi side Al Nassr in 2013\/14.<\/p>\n<p>After leading Qatar\u2019s Al Arabi to an 8th place finish,\u00a0Carreno took charge of the Qatar national team. However, he was recently sacked after consecutive defeats to Iran and Uzbekistan in 2018 World Cup qualifying.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-mh-magazine-content\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/06\/155120539.jpg\" width=\"0\" height=\"NaN\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/06\/695705726.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Jorge Fossati<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another Uruguayan and the successor to the man above, Fossati surprisingly stepped down after beating South Korea 3-2 in the latest 2018 World Cup qualification match.
