Italy national team head coach Giampiero Ventura admitted that he is flattered by reports linking him to the vacant Jiangsu Suning job.<\/p>\n
The 69-year-old tactician merged as one of the contenders for the vacancy after the Chinese Super League side parted way with South Korean coach Choi Yong-soo.<\/p>\n
However, Ventura, who replaced Antonio Conte as Italy coach in June last year insisted that his focus is still on the current team.<\/p>\n
“There’s nothing to explain. I was flattered because it comes from an economically powerful club,” he said was quoted by Football Italia.<\/em><\/p>\n “If it was real, I would feel honoured, but at the moment I am coach of Italy. We started a project and it’s logical we carry it forward.
