Argentina legend Gabriel Batistuta has been offered the chance to coach Australian A-League club Adelaide United, according to the reports.<\/p>\n
The 48-year-old scored 54 goals for Argentina during a prolific playing career and was the all-time leading goalscorer before Lionel Messi overtook him last year.<\/p>\n
Batistuta is wanted as a replacement for departing Spaniard head coach Guillermo Amor, who failed to defend the league title after finishing ninth in the A-League regular stage this season.<\/p>\n
