J1 League Kashima Antlers defeated Thailand’s Muangthong United 2-1 in their Group E<\/strong> match at Kashima Soccer Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Antlers’ goals were both scored by Yuma Suzuki while Teerasil Dangda was on target for Muangthong.<\/p>\n

The other Group E clash saw\u00a0Ulsan Hyundai claim a 3-2 win over Brisbane Roar FC.<\/p>\n

Jamie Young got the scoring underway with an own-goal on nine minutes before Jamie Maclaren bagged a brace to turn the tides for Brisbane on 18 and 37 minutes.<\/p>\n

But Nam Hee-Cheol equalised for the visitors on 54 minutes before Kim Yong-Jin secured all three points with his goal on 75 minutes.<\/p>\n

After today’s results, Antlers won the group with 12 points followed by Muangthong with 11. In the third spot with seven points\u00a0is Ulsan Hyundai, followed by Brisbane Roar on four.<\/p>\n

In Group F<\/strong>, FC Seoul picked up a 1-0 victory over the Urawa Red Diamonds at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.<\/p>\n

Academy graduate Yoon Seung-won scored the only goal of the game.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Western Sydney Wanderers capped off their 2017 AFC Champions League campaign with a 3-2 win over Shanghai SIPG.<\/p>\n

Wu Lei opened the score after just 2 minutes of play, but the Australian side fought back superbly with goals from\u00a0Jumpei Kusukami (3′) and\u00a0Steven Lustica (6′) gave them the lead.<\/p>\n

Elkeson converted a spot kick to equalise for the visitors in the 23rd minute, but a late goal from\u00a0Jaushua Sorito\u00a0ensure the three points remain at the\u00a0Campbelltown Sports Stadium.<\/p>\n

After today’s results, Urawa Red Diamonds won the group with 12 points followed by Shanghai SIPG with 12 points but inferior goal difference.<\/p>\n
