Milovan Rajevac is scheduled to arrive in Bangkok today and will be officially unveiled as head coach of the Thai national team tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Rajevac will arrive with three staff members: an assistant coach, a goalkeeping coach, and a fitness coach.<\/p>\n
The Serbian’s first assignment will be a friendly match at Uzbekistan on 7 June before a World Cup qualifier against the United Arab Emirates in Bangkok on 13 June.<\/p>\n
Thailand are already eliminated from the qualification for next year’s World Cup after six losses and one draw.<\/p>\n
FAT technical chief Witthaya Laohakul said yesterday Rajevac would be given a free hand in selecting his players.<\/p>\n
The 63-year-old coach was in Bangkok last month and watched some Thai League T1 matches.<\/p>\n
“He has seen some players who suit his style of play,” said Witthaya, as quoted by Bangkok Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n “I am worried that he may not have enough time to adapt to the job here.
