The three points secured from this match helped Guangzhou Evergrande overtake local rivals Guangzhou R&F at the summit thanks to the superior goal difference.<\/p>\n
Ricardo Goulart scored a hat-trick,\u00a0including two penalties, as the six-time Chinese Super League winners moved onto 16 points and ahead of R&F, who were beaten 3-1 by Guizhou Zhicheng on Friday evening.<\/p>\n
“Today was a very entertaining and intense match,” Scolari said.<\/p>\n
