Charnwit Polcheewin (2005-2008)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Polcheewin is considered the master of the football coach of Thailand as he was in charge of various Thai national team, including the men&#8217;s U-16, U-19, U-20, U-23 and senior squad, as well as the women&#8217;s senior squad.<\/p>\n<p>Under Polcheewin&#8217;s leadership, Thailand won back-to-back King&#8217;s Cup in 2006 and 2007, and a gold medal at the SEA Games in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Polcheewin&#8217;s U-23 team also earned praises by advancing to the quarter-finals of the 2006 Asian Games.<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3113 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Carlos-Roberto-de-Carvalho.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"620\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0Carlos Roberto (1989-1991 and 2003-2004)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Brasilian is no stranger to Thailand football scene, having managed the national team twice and worked closely with Thai clubs such as Bangkok Glass, Muangthong United and Police United.<\/p>\n<p>Roberto led the War Elephants to victories in the 1990\u00a0Four Nations in Indochina Cup and King&#8217;s Cup.<\/p>\n<p>He also led Thailand U-23 to the semi-final at 1990 Asian Games and finished at the 4th place.<\/p>\n<p>At the regional level, after settling for the silver medal in the 1991 SEA Games, Roberto won the gold medal in his second stint in 2004.<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2928 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Kiatisuk-Senamuang-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Kiatisuk Senamuang (2014-2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most recent head coach of the War Elephants, Kiatisuk achieved massive success with the national team.<\/p>\n<p>As head coach of Thailand U-23, Kiatisuk guided the team to 2013 SEA Games football gold, adding to 4 golds he won as a player in 4 straight Games from 1993 to 1999.<\/p>\n<p>He also led Thailand U-23 to the semi-final at 2014 Asian Games and finished at the 4th place.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, Kiatisuk and Thailand won the 2014 ASEAN Football Championship after a\u00a04-3 aggregate victory against Malaysia, making him the first player and coach to win\u00a0the tournament. The former striker would later go on and win the 2016 edition of AFF Championship as well.<\/p>\n<p>Kiattisuk helped Thailand finish top of the group in the 2018\u00a0World Cup qualification second round with 14 points from 6 games.<\/p>\n<p>Thailand advanced to the final round of the qualification but heavy defeats against Japan and UAE in March 2017 caused Kiatisuk to step down.<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3111\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/113103993-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.
