He has signed a contract with us until June 30, 2030,\u201d stated a press release on <em>Die Fohlen<\/em>&#8216;s official website.<\/p>\n<p>Monchengladbach is optimistic that Diks\u2019 presence will strengthen their defensive line. The club, which has won the Bundesliga title five times, sees great potential in Diks\u2019 versatility, as he can operate as a central defender or as a fullback on either side.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKevin brings experience and is a versatile defender who can play in all positions across the backline\u2014center, left, or right. His addition makes us more flexible defensively,\u201d said Borussia Monchengladbach Sporting Director Roland Virkus.<\/p>\n<p>Virkus also highlighted non-technical attributes that make Monchengladbach an ideal club for Diks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdditionally, he\u2019s a great person who knows exactly what he wants. He will fit in perfectly with us,\u201d added Virkus.<\/p>\n<p>Germany will be a new chapter in Diks\u2019 football career. The defender has previously played in the Netherlands with Vitesse and Feyenoord, and in Italy with Fiorentina and Empoli. Since 2019, Diks has been competing in Denmark, where he has represented AGF and Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s also set to become the second Indonesian to play in the top five European leagues in recent times, after Venezia&#8217;s Jay Idzes.<\/p>\n<p>Diks, who has previously represented the Netherlands at youth levels, from U-19 to U-21, has earned one cap for the Indonesian national team.
