Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha wrote his name in A-League history book by becoming the first ever player to reach 100 league goals.<\/p>\n
The landmark goal came in Victory’s clash with Central Coast Mariners on Friday as Berisha hit the all important goal in the 80th minute to keep his side on course for second place.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old Kosovo attacker scored his first A-League goal at Allianz Stadium against Sydney FC in 2011 and now boasts an incredible 100 goals in 155 games.<\/p>\n
Berisha had been waiting a while for this feat, having failed to find the net in two games since March 11.<\/p>\n
His milestone goal sees him strengthen his position at the top of the scoring chart with 19 goals in 25 games as he chases another Golden Boot.<\/p>\n
