Piyapong Pue-on (Thailand \u2013 Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Piyapong Pue-on was one of the top strikers from Thailand in the 1980s. He also had a two-year stint at Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso (now known as FC Seoul), from 1984 to 1986.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1984 K League season, he scored on his debut on 8 September against POSCO Dolphins.<\/p>\n<p>He played one of the leading roles to crown the Lucky-Goldstar as the K League champions in 1985, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists.<\/p>\n<p>The striker won the K League Top Scorer Award and K League Top Assists Award in 1985. He was also voted into the K League Best XI the same year.<\/p>\n<p>Piyapong made 34 league appearances, scoring 17 goals in total for Lucky-Goldstar.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2791 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Alvaro-Silva-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Alvaro Silva (Philippines \u2013 Daejeon Citizen)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Filipino international player Alvaro Silva joined Daejeon Citizen in 2014 and made 7 appearances in the K League Classic.<\/p>\n<p>The centre-back stayed at the club after their relegation from the top-flight league.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to make a total of 22 appearances of Daejeon Citizen.<\/p>\n<p>Silva is currently\u00a0playing in Vietnam for Hanoi FC.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2792 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Diogo-Rangel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"421\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Diogo Rangel (Timor-Leste \u2013 Daejeon Citizen\/Gangwon FC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Former East Timorese defender Diogo Rangel joined K League Challenge side Daejeon Citizen in 2014 and then move to Gangwon in the same season.<\/p>\n<p>He played 12 matches for Daejeon and 11 matches for Gangwon.<\/p>\n<p>Rangel had been naturalized and has served the country&#8217;s national team for six years. He was capped 17 times for Timor-Leste.<\/p>\n<p>However, in 2017, the Asian Football Confederation declared him ineligible to play for the country, which subsequently has void the passport had given him before.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2790 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Xuan-Truong.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Xuan-Truong.jpg 900w, https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Xuan-Truong-800x532.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Luong Xuan Truong (Vietnam \u2013 Incheon United\/Gangwon FC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Luong Xuan Truong is set to continue his career in Korea Republic\u2019s top-flight after joining newly-promoted Gangwon FC on loan from Vietnamese side Hoang Ang Gia Lai (HAGL).<\/p>\n<p>The centre midfielder,\u00a0who is praised for his vision, passing and free-kick ability, joins Gangwon on a one-year deal.<\/p>\n<p>Truong is the first player from Vietnam to feature in the K League Classic.
