Once again it was Jonathan Khemdee who became Thailand&#8217;s hero as his goal right at the end of the first half helped his team to a famous victory.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Khemdee, who played his club football at Ratchaburi FC, scored what turned out to be the decisive goal of the game with a well-taken penalty in the first minute of stoppage time.<\/p>\n<p>The win extended Thailand&#8217;s unbeaten run in the 2023 Doha Cup, having tied 2-2 with reigning Asian U-23s champions Saudi Arabia on Wednesday in their first match of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Vietnam U-23, who were also participating in the Doha Cup, succumbed to their second consecutive defeat.
