Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta, Indonesia)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 7th largest association football stadium in the world, the\u00a0Gelora Bung Karno Stadium was built from 1960 to 1962.<\/p>\n<p>The stadium is named after Sukarno, Indonesia&#8217;s first President, and has the same interior with Luzhniki Stadium in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Its original capacity of 120,800 people was reduced to 88,083 as a result of renovations for the 2007 Asian Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Gelora Bung Karno Stadium hosted the final of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup between Saudi Arabia and Iraq, as well as the Asia Preseason Tours of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Juventus.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2685\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Bukit-Jalil.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"798\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0Bukit Jalil Stadium (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bukit Jalil Stadium was built on 1 January 1995 to host the 1998 Commonwealth Games and finished exactly on 1 January 1998.<\/p>\n<p>Bukit Jalil National Stadium&#8217;s capacity makes it the 2nd largest football stadium in the world and the largest stadium in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Bukit Jalil has been host to multiple footballing events, such as the first leg of\u00a02010 AFF Suzuki Cup Final, and the Asia Preseason Tours of Manchester United (twice), Liverpool (twice), Chelsea and Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2686\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/National-Stadium.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"679\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. National Stadium (Kallang, Singapore)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new National Stadium was built to replace the former National Stadium at the same site.<\/p>\n<p>It has a maximum seating capacity of 55,000 for football events and costs $1.33 billion to build, making it the most expensive stadium in the Southeast Asia region.<\/p>\n<p>The stadium features a domed roof structure and configurable seating on the lowest tier to make it the only stadium in the world that is custom designed to host football, rugby, cricket and athletics events. It is also the world&#8217;s largest retractable dome.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2687\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Shah-Alam-Stadium.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"522\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0Shah Alam Stadium (Selangor, Malaysia)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The stadium is the former home of Selangor FA and current home of PKNS FC. It has a capacity of 80,372.<\/p>\n<p>The Shah Alam Stadium broke ground on 1 January 1990\u00a0and was officially opened on 16 July 1994.<\/p>\n<p>It has hosted the first leg of the semi-final match of\u00a0<span id=\"2014_AFF_Suzuki_Championship\" class=\"mw-headline\">2014 AFF Suzuki Championship between Malaysia and Vietnam, as well as friendly matches of Malaysia XI against Chelsea (2008), and Malaysia XI against Arsenal (2011).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2688\" src=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Rajamangala-stadium.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"461\" srcset=\"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Rajamangala-stadium.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2017\/04\/Rajamangala-stadium-800x369.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0Rajamangala Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Rajamangala Stadium was first used for the 1998 Asian Games and\u00a0has since been used for many international matches and football tournaments.
