Manchester United central midfielder and World Cup winner Paul Pogba is being strongly linked with a return to the Parc des Princes club in the Parisien capital this summer but it appears not all PSG fans are enamored of the player, as clearly evidenced by unflattering banners put up around the training grounds.<\/p>\n
Some Paris Saint-Germain anti-Pogba dissidents have left banners with a clear message outside the club\u2019s stadium and training ground telling Pogba in no uncertain terms he isn\u2019t welcome at the club.<\/p>\n
The Man United central midfielder has been long linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and he recently rejected a new \u00a350m contract, with his current deal set to expire at the end of next season.<\/p>\n
Pogba\u2019s unwillingness to sign a new deal has forced United to look at selling their club record \u00a389m signing \u2013 or risk losing him for nothing next summer.<\/p>\n
PSG are believed to be willing to pay \u00a345m for the 28-year-old, who impressed for France in this summer\u2019s European Championships.<\/p>\n
Although one would imagine that football-loving French aficionados would be gleefully raising their arms to welcome the World Cup winner, it\u2019s now obvious that a number of PSG fans are totally against the idea due to the fact that Pogba\u2019s family grew up in the area supporting their bitter rivals Marseille.<\/p>\n
Speaking in an interview with Canal+ back in 2018, Pogba said: \u201cI\u2019m sure that I wouldn\u2019t play club football at the Parc des Princes.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not attracted to that because my father and mother were fans of Marseille so Paris doesn\u2019t really fit into my plans.\u201d<\/p>\n
And making reference to this, the banners left by the PSG faithful bore a message which read:<\/p>\n
\u201cPogba you should listen to your mother, she doesn\u2019t want you here.
