Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was left red-faced yesterday when a leaked audio from 2006 caught him launching a no-holds-barred tirade on global football icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho besides criticizing club legends Iker Casillas and Raul as \u2018two great frauds\u2019.<\/p>\n
El Confidencial were responsible for the sensational leak and have now released quotes from an interview in in 2012, with Perez openly bad mouthing Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.<\/p>\n
In the leaked audio, Florentino described Ronaldo as \u2018crazy\u2019 and an \u2018idiot\u2019, adding that both the latter and Mourinho having serious ego problems and are spoiled. He went on to label both of them as \u2018abnormal\u2019.<\/p>\n
He said (as translated by Football Espana): \u201cHe\u2019s crazy [about Ronaldo]. This guy is an idiot, a sick man.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou think this guy is normal but he\u2019s not normal, otherwise he wouldn\u2019t do all the things he does.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last nonsense he did, the whole world saw it. Why do you think he does that stupid thing?<\/p>\n
\u201cMendes doesn\u2019t control [Ronaldo], just like he doesn\u2019t control Mourinho. Zero weight.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are guys with a serious ego, both spoiled, and they don\u2019t see reality because they could both earn a lot more money if they were otherwise inclined.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese two are abnormal, because we\u2019re talking about a lot of money in respect to image rights.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlso, with that face they have, that defiant way, that everyone dislikes them; if the publicity is the opposite, it\u2019s the opposite!\u201d<\/p>\n
Ronaldo left Los Blancos for Juventus in the summer of 2018 after nine seasons.<\/p>\n
The five-time Ballon d\u2019Or winner helped the club win four Champions League titles, two La Liga crowns among several other trophies.<\/p>\n
Before leaving, there was speculation over his dubious relationship with Perez, and that could be related to the leaked audio.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Mourinho left Los Blancos after the 2012\/2013 season, and he has since been in charge of four different clubs.<\/p>\n
After stints at Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in England, Mourinho is back in the Serie A with Roma.<\/p>\n
