{"id":25673,"date":"2021-04-10T07:34:23","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T22:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/?p=25673"},"modified":"2021-04-10T07:34:23","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T22:34:23","slug":"not-a-perfect-night-solskjaer-frustrated-by-bookings-as-man-utd-will-enter-second-leg-vs-granada-depleted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/football-tribe.com\/asia\/2021\/04\/10\/not-a-perfect-night-solskjaer-frustrated-by-bookings-as-man-utd-will-enter-second-leg-vs-granada-depleted\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Not a perfect night\u2019 \u2013 Solskjaer frustrated by bookings as Man Utd will enter second leg vs Granada depleted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be forced into a less than ideal reshuffle for next week\u2019s second leg at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>Solskjaer although pleased with his side\u2019s Europa League victory against Granada said it was \u201cnot a perfect night\u201d after three bookings ruled out a trio of players through suspension for next week\u2019s quarter-final second leg.<\/p>\n<p>United look well set for a place in the last four after goals in each half from Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes pushed them through with a 2-0 victory against the Spanish side.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the Red Devils will be lacking Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw for next week\u2019s return game after the three picked up bookings.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the game to BT Sport, Solskjaer said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was not a perfect night. We got three yellow cards and three suspensions. 2-0 is very good result. We know how difficult it is to come to Spain. We\u2019ve got to play well to get a result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Solskjaer lauded the performance of the two goalscorers, with Rashford\u2019s excellent first-half strike from Victor Lindelof\u2019s cross-field pass taking his tally to 20 in all competitions.<\/p>\n<p>It was also his eighth goal in European competition this season, the first English player to achieve that feat for the Red Devils since Sir Bobby Charlton in 1964-65.<\/p>\n<p>Fernandes meanwhile scored a late penalty to move to 24 goals for the season. The Portuguese has scored 19 of the 20 spot-kicks he has taken for the club in all competitions this campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey [Rashford and Fernandes] have been exceptional, so important for us,\u201d added Solskjaer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a very good run by Rashford, takes the ball fantastically. Bruno is so confident on penalties even though the keeper almost saved it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to win every game. It\u2019s still a young team, a learning team. We have to improve all the time. Football catches you so quickly if you rest.
