However Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has stated that the Parisien club will not beg star players Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to stay at the club in the hope of extending their current contracts.<\/p>\n
Despite that, Leonardo is nonetheless hopeful that both stars, considered as two of the world\u2019s best players, are happy in the French capital and will extend their contracts soon.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope that they are convinced that PSG is a good place for a high level and ambitious player,\u201d Leonardo told France Football.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just need to find an agreement between their desires, their demands, our expectations and our means. We are not going to beg: \u2018Please, stay.\u2019 It is more calculated than that.<\/p>\n
\u201cThose who really want to stay will stay. We speak regularly and I have good feelings on both of those matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mbappe, 22, and Neymar, 28, have contributed to a combined 37 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions this campaign.<\/p>\n
