Pochettino is intent on ending Dele Alli\u2019s north London nightmare by offering him a new roost in the French capital following his spanking new PSG appointment.<\/p>\n
Former England midfielder Alli enjoyed his best years playing under the former Spurs boss, registering 18 goals in 36 appearances for the club even as they narrowly missed out on the Premier League title in 2017 and the Champions League in 2019.<\/p>\n
But before he can hit the lasso in his targets, the Argentine coach needs to oversee a major selling spree in the January window, according to L\u2019Equipe.<\/p>\n
PSG chief Leonardo\u2019s failure to bring in \u20ac60m (\u00a353m) of sales in the summer, according to earlier plans, means the French club must now gear thwmselves up to offload stars this month.<\/p>\n
L\u2019Equipe report that Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, Julian Draxler and possibly Ander Herrera or Thilo Kehrer are all on the table.<\/p>\n
Even if PSG can offload one or two of the transfer-listed stars, Leonardo is all set to mount another attack for Alli\u2019s services as the latter has made his feelings known about Pochettino joining PSG by liking BT Sport\u2019s Instagram post about his appointment.<\/p>\n
24-year-old Alli has been awkwardly been frozen out by Jose Mourinho in north London this season, making just 11 appearances in all competitions for Spurs.<\/p>\n
Alli was an unused substitute in Spurs\u2019 last two Premier League outings, with his most recent appearance coming in their Carabao Cup quarter-final win away at Stoke.<\/p>\n
However, there is no certaibty Tottenham would sanction a January exit.<\/p>\n
Former Spurs chief, Pochettino, meanwhile, is excited to make his belated return to management.<\/p>\n
