Jack Grealish has acknowledged Adama Traor\u00e9 as the fastest footballer he\u2019s ever seen, saying the Wolves winger deserves a higher stat for pace on FIFA 21 than Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbapp\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Both Traor\u00e9 and Mbapp\u00e9 have a 96 rating for their blistering speed on the new FIFA 21 game, released on October 9th.<\/p>\n
Grealish told JOE ahead of the launch of FIFA 21, \u201cI know Mbapp\u00e9 is fast, and one of the top five players in the world, but Adama is the fastest person I\u2019ve ever seen play football in my life. He should be highest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked if players dread coming up against Traor\u00e9, Grealish explained the best way to contain his former Aston Villa teammate.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have to be wary of his pace,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf he wants to face you up, the best thing to do is literally, stand like this [side on] so he can\u2019t come down the line and let him go inside.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Grealish revealed he wasn\u2019t too happy with his own stats on the game.<\/p>\n
Describing his overall rating of 80 as \u201cterrible\u201d, Grealish said of his stats: \u201cI just don\u2019t think they\u2019re that good. I think 80 is a bit harsh.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reacting to his surprisingly low physicality rating of 61, he said \u201cI\u2019m not that weak, am I?\u201d<\/p>\n
On FIFA 21, Grealish is listed as a left winger. The Villa captain explained to JOE that while he prefers to play in the middle, he has grown to enjoy playing as a wide man for his boyhood club.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d rather be an inside\u2026 So on FIFA Ultimate Team people can change my position to a number 8, or a normal centre-mid,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Asked what his favourite position was, he said it depends on the situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t mind left-wing now. At Villa I\u2019ve done well there, I\u2019ve scored goals and got assists from that position so I don\u2019t really mind,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I love playing as a number 8 or a number 10 where I\u2019m in the middle of the pitch and I can get more of the ball.\u201d<\/p>\n
