Persib Bandung have signed former West Ham striker Carlton Cole as their second Marquee player to improve the squad.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old striker had already undergone medical tests in Jakarta and was unveiled at a press conference a few hours ago. Cole will wear the number 12 at his new club.<\/p>\n
Persib Bandung’s manager Umuh Muchtar stated that Cole has agreed to join Persib after they recruited Michael Essien earlier this month.<\/span><\/p>\n “The negotiations were long because he wanted to know who Persib is. Once Essien is here, then he believes the potential of Persib.”<\/p>\n Carlton Cole began his career at Chelsea in 2001 before being transferred to West Ham United in 2006.
