In an interview with BBC Sport Wales, Barnett spoke about Bale\u2019s contract situation, with the agent admitting that he has started negotiations with Real Madrid for his client to leave the club. Barnett wasn\u2019t evasive when asked about Bale\u2019s new destination, seemingly ruling out a move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
\u201cGareth still loves Spurs, we are talking. It\u2019s where he wants to be,\u201d Barnett told the media outlet.<\/p>\n
Talk about Bale\u2019s ext from Real Madrid has been circulating for quite some time, with the player\u2019s suppposed reluctance to accept any deal delaying all negotiations last season, but his agent and his inner circle have finally convinced him to leave Los Blancos in favor of a sensational return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Tottenham\u2019s negotiations with Real Madrid to add Bale to their roster have also included discussions to see Sergio Reguil\u00f3n joining Spurs. The deal for Bale could also see Dele Alli joining the Spanish side, although the number of midfielders included in Zidane\u2019s squad make it difficult to include the English footballer in the negotiation.<\/p>\n
