Haghighi previously played for\u00a0Persepolis, Rubin Kazan and most recently\u00a0Mar\u00edtimo in Primeira Liga, Portugal’s top division.<\/p>\n
In addition, the 28-year-old was part of the Iranian national team that played the World Cup in Brazil 2014. Iran finished last in the group after nations such as Argentina, Nigeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina with just one point.<\/p>\n
