Without any doubt, the English Premier League is the most followed league across all Asia. Supporters on the continent stay up all night following game in pubs and enjoying their beloved clubs.<\/p>\n

In the last few years, thanks to the increasing quality of the Asian leagues, plenty of Asian players have been able to play in England at a high level and the league popularity’s grown even more.<\/p>\n

Son Heung-min<\/strong><\/p>\n

With his signing with Tottenham Hotspur’s, he became the most expensive Asian player in football history. He is also the top Asian goalscorer in Premier League history with 42 goals and is currently the captain of the South Korea National Football Tram.<\/p>\n

Shinji Okazaki<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the 2015\/16 season, he contributed to Leicester City’s historical title-win. He is famous for his guts in front of the goal and his attitude to never surrender. His fabulous overhead kick against Newcastle will be remembered forever<\/p>\n

He is also the top scorer in the history of the Japan national team with 50 goals. Currently, he’s under a one-year contract deal with M\u00e1laga CF in the Spanish second division.<\/p>\n

Ki Sung-yueng<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Newcastle United central midfielder is known for his game vision, and his long-range passing and shooting. He became one of the most beloved players in Swansea City and on 2015, Ki was also voted as the club’s Player of the Year after scoring eight goals in 33 appearances. Now he is under a 2 year deal with Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

Shinji Kagawa<\/strong><\/p>\n

The midfielder was the first Japanese player to feature for Manchester United, and in his debut Premier League season, his side won the title. He is known for his vision, technique, and passing skills.<\/p>\n

Kagawa is also the Japanese player with the most appearances and goals in UEFA club competitions.<\/p>\n

Park Ji-sung<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Korean star played seven seasons at Manchester United. The midfielder was the first Asian footballer to win the UEFA Champions League, to play in a UEFA Champions League final, and the first Asian player to have won the FIFA Club World Cup.<\/p>\n

He played 154 times during his Premier League spell (including also 20 games for Queens Park Rangers) and he was beloved by supporters for his incredible work rate.<\/p>\n
