Premier League transfer market closed about two weeks ago. The window saw a lot of impressive transfer but, one of the most interesting was Chelsea’s David Luiz joining their London rivals Arsenal.<\/p>\n

We are pretty sure it was a difficult decision to make this step. Today we will introduce you the player that, despite the rivalry, played for both Arsenal and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Lassana Diarra<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arsenal (2007~2008)

Chelsea (2005~2007)

Diarra retired this winter in February. At Chelsea, he was considered the successor of Claude Mak\u00e9l\u00e9l\u00e9 and in the 2006\/2007 season, he played plenty of games.<\/p>\n

However, he moved to Arsenal the following year but he was not blessed with the opportunity to play, so he transferred to Portsmouth the following season.<\/p>\n

Anelka joined Arsenal from Paris Saint-Germain when he was just 18. After that, he transferred in several clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester City and, in 2008, became a Chelsea player. He and his strike partner Didier Drogba wracked up an incredible number of goals during an incredibly successful spell for the club.<\/p>\n

Ashley Cole moved from Arsenal to Chelsea on the last day of 2006 summer market. Cole, who was included in Arsenal \u2019s top 50 players, made a great performance also at Chelsea, contributing to winning the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.<\/p>\n

However, in the winter of 2018, his chance to play decreased with the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. As a result, he decided to move to Chelsea. Last season contributed to a Europa League victory,\u00a0 finishing as the competition’s top scorer.<\/p>\n
