With Premier League market now closed, the summer transfer season in Europe is reaching its climax. The next few days will be really important for top clubs to complete their squads.<\/p>\n

Today we will focus on players who are currently free of contract.<\/p>\n

Actually, there are 13 players with champions league experience who are still without a contract heading into the new season.<\/p>\n

We introduced six of them on the first part of this topic at the following link<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here’s the rest of them.<\/p>\n

F\u00e1bio Coentr\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coentr\u00e3o reached the “Top of Europe” two times with Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

However, his career at Real Madrid was not so brilliant as he struggled to establish himself as a regular member of the first time, and as such as went on loan to Monaco in 2015.<\/p>\n

In 2018 he transferred completely to Rio Ave, which was his first team as a professional player. We don’t know the details but, at the end of the season, he will be free of contract.<\/p>\n

Lazar Markovi\u0107<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was bought by Liverpool in 2014. However, the club made many new signings in the wide positions and the opportunities for participation were limited. Since then, he has been transferred to multiple clubs such as Fenerbahce and Sporting Lisbon.<\/p>\n

Now his contract with Liverpool has expired but the player is still 25 years old. For the sake of his career, he will be hoping to find a new club soon.<\/p>\n

Wilfried Bony<\/strong><\/p>\n

After showing a great goalscoring ability at Swansea City, he was called to Manchester City in 2015. However, after moving to one of England’s biggest clubs, he was unable to continue his excellent goalscoring form.<\/p>\n

Now back at his previous club Swansea, this season he went on loan at Al-Arabi on Qatar Stars League.
\nSwansea didn’t renew the contract so the player actually is currently a free agent.<\/p>\n

Hatem Ben Arfa<\/strong><\/p>\n

After showing his talent at Newcastle United in 2015, the stylish attacker went back to France. At first he played for Nice, before transferring to\u00a0 PSG.<\/p>\n

However, Laurent Blanc, the coach that wanted him, was dismissed soon after his arrival. New coach Unai Emery didn’t like Hatem Ben Arfa so much, and as such he didn’t use him very often.<\/p>\n

The player is still considered a genius so he will find a club for sure. There is also the rumor of him going back to Newcastle.<\/p>\n

Claudio Marchisio<\/strong><\/p>\n

He played 13 seasons with Italian giants Juventus before moving to join Zenit Saint Petersburg. He was doing well initially but was later hampered due to injury problems<\/p>\n

Marchisio, who had a two-year contract, canceled it under a mutual agreement because of the injury. He stayed at Zenit for only 10 months.<\/p>\n

Marchisio is a good player and also a good person. There will be a lot of fans who are waiting for his comeback.<\/p>\n

Daniel Sturridge<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the 2013\/2014 season, Sturridge scored 21 goals and has made a significant contribution for Liverpool to win the Champions League. He was also elected in the PFA best eleven of the year. However, that was his best season, and consistent injuries have led to a decline from there.<\/p>\n

Due to these injuries, Sturridge wasn’t able to play as a starting member so much. From the 2016\/2017 season, the arrival of Roberto Firmino reduced further his opportunities.<\/p>\n

Will he find a good club even if he was not able to play in the last season when Liverpool won the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Mario Balotelli<\/strong><\/p>\n

Considered a big talent from his early years, Balotelli wasn’t able to show the performance expected of him for many clubs.<\/p>\n

The last team he joined was Marseille at the start of 2019, but this summer the French club have decided not to extend his contract.<\/p>\n
